How will the coaching sessions be structured?
Weekly sessions will be split into small group skill-learning sessions and skill implementation net sessions. Coaches will provide continuous feedback to the students during these sessions. Parents are highly encouraged to speak directly with our coaches for feedback at the end of the sessions and matches.
What will be the duration of each session?
Net sessions will span two hours. Skill-learning sessions will be an hour and a half.
How will each player get personal attention?
The coaches will address specific points for learning and improvement in the small group skill-learning sessions. During the skill implementation nets sessions with a larger group, the coaches will observe and offer corrections.
Will you be offering coaching outside Dublin and Pleasanton?
While we are working on coaching facilities outside Dublin and Pleasanton, these will be the primary locations for Spring ‘23. The primary grounds will be in the Dublin and Pleasanton areas with some matches across locations in the Bay Area.
Where will the sessions be held?
All net sessions will be conducted outdoors for the Spring Quarter. Every holistic session will focus on batting, bowling and fielding. The coaches will focus on fitness as part of the regular coaching sessions.
Will the grouping be based solely on age?
While the player must be at most the age group that they are part of, the grouping will be based on skill and proficiency. For example, a 12 year old can be part of the U13 group but not U11.
How will these groupings work in external games?
For external games, the groupings will be made in accordance of the requirements of the competing leagues and tournament.
